Hi, I’m Brooke — the stylist behind Pure & Rooted Hair Co. After years of working in traditional salon environments, I began noticing something wasn’t right. The hair color and chemicals commonly used in most salons started causing severe irritation and allergy-like reactions for me. On the days I worked with conventional color, I would experience constant symptoms that disappeared when I wasn’t in the salon. That experience changed the way I looked at the beauty industry. I realized that many of the products used every day in salons can contain harsh chemicals that affect not only stylists, but also the clients sitting in the chair. I knew there had to be a better way to create beautiful hair without compromising health and wellbeing. That’s what inspired me to create a different kind of salon experience. At Pure & Rooted Hair Co., my goal is to provide beautiful, high-quality hair services using lower-toxin, more mindful color and product choices. I’ve carefully selected color lines and salon products that prioritize cleaner ingredients while still delivering gorgeous results. My space is designed with wellness in mind — especially for clients who are sensitive to strong fragrances or chemicals. The shampoos and styling products I use are clean, and I even offer fragrance-free options for guests who prefer an even gentler experience. I believe you shouldn’t have to choose between beautiful hair and a healthier environment. Creating a space where clients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident — while also minimizing unnecessary toxins — is something I’m deeply passionate about.
